I mean, the underwhelming set design is a dead giveaway and it's no secret that Grace Coddington is an incredible stylist but I haven't responded this strongly to anything in Vogue for years. I actually bought the October issue—as opposed to stealing it from a doctor's office or something—because of these clothes. It's all about a giant coat right now. A giant coat is chic and super functional because you can comfortably wear a blazer under it, conceal a pregnancy, or gain or lose 50lbs without having to buy new clothes. It's totally genius.

Under the Pink
Although I'm largely indifferent about Miss Minaj nowadays I fully support her foray into the celebrity fragrance biz. The bottle for "Pink Friday" is one part Avon, one part Metropolis, and totally fucking amazing. It may smell like the Victoria's Secret PINK™ store at your local mall but does that really matter?

Bedtime Stories
So I watched The Maids on YouTube the other day out of desperation. Watching the film wasn't desperate but watching such a low-quality version felt wrong, like watching Last Year at Marienbad on an iPhone at the gym or something. But it looked great regardless, I forgot how amazing the set was. Especially that bed, God I want that bed. And the tent-like chiffon garment that Susannah York is wearing.
