Last weekend I finally got to see Alex Ross Perry's The Color Wheel, a hysterical, endearing, and refreshingly inappropriate film about a warring brother and sister who embark upon a disastrous weekend road trip. Perry and my friend Carlen co-wrote and star in the film. She's one of the funniest people that I know and it was such a pleasure to see her embody such a delightfully dysfunctional character. The Color Wheel is playing at BAM until the 24th and touring the country shortly thereafter. Run, don't walk!
Oh and p.s., A.O. Scott's review is far more interesting than mine.
