I mean, the underwhelming set design is a dead giveaway and it's no secret that Grace Coddington is an incredible stylist but I haven't responded this strongly to anything in Vogue for years. I actually bought the October issue—as opposed to stealing it from a doctor's office or something—because of these clothes. It's all about a giant coat right now. A giant coat is chic and super functional because you can comfortably wear a blazer under it, conceal a pregnancy, or gain or lose 50lbs without having to buy new clothes. It's totally genius.

Perfect. I bought an enormous JF coat end of season last year. Now I'll look cool and feel cozy all winter long. These pics rule.
What a gorgeous photoshoot!

Neat. It makes me think of David Byrne's Big Suit.
Amazing shots!
aaaaaa these clothes are beautiful (especially that last coat - CDG, I believe? but ugh the set design in american vogue is just so stale. I honestly prefer British Vogue because of Alasdair McLellans genius!
wow love this shoot! :)
