I still remember going to the movies to see this movie. I remember finding that particular dream scene so magical and mysterious, and wishing myself in it.
oh Labyrinth! It takes up such a huge part of my childhood brain. That dress was the be all and end all of dresses for me. The poofier the better! The song in that scene is also the best.
david bowie in labyrinth was definitely one of my first major crushes. re-watched it as an adult a few years ago while sick and high on cough syrup after taking the most chillaxing shower ever. highly recommended.

Best part of the movie! I wrote a mask making art unit for my students based on this, purely so we could watch this scene/the whole movie in class.
