Suspira Interiors

I came across these stills from Suspiria while I was putting together my Black Swan post awhile back. The interiors in that film are phenomenal, who knew that seventies deco kitsch could be so eerie?

That film scared the shit out of me and despite the simply amazing aesthetics I will never be able to watch it again!

As I was reading your first page I was thinking... I bet she has seen Suspiria (one of my favourite movies) and then I get to this post.....weird! Ok maybe not that weird, but I'm always the person introducing (forcing people to watch) this movie. I love the way Argento used lighting to heighten the mood, and the combination of the poor sound quality, the interiors and the music - it just is such a good film experience!
