There are two types of people in the world: people who think that Todd Solondz is a genius and people who think that he is a very sick individual. I fall on the "genius" side of the debate, which has not served me well in more than a few social situations over the years. So, at the risk of pissing off the Solondz haters, I am very happy to present the trailer for his new movie Life During Wartime. It's a non-linear sequel to Happiness with different actors playing the various roles. I am beyond psyched that Paul Reubens is playing a younger version Jon Lovitz's character. And did I mention that Charlotte Rampling is in it? Life During Wartime comes out on July 23rd.
