All Tomorrow's Parties

December is the month of a zillion parties and consequently a great excuse to buy yourself something sparkly or ruffly to don (as if you needed an excuse). Here's a little round-up of some of my picks conveniently categorized by some of my favorite L Word character's personal style...because there just isn't enough L Word in my life right now. Feast your eyes on these festive holiday frocks!

Jenny Schecter:

Philip Lim Sequin Back Dress, $675 at La Garconne
                                             Bette Porter:

United Bamboo Fitted Dress, $495 at Gargyle

Alice Pieszecki:

Marc by Marc Jacobs Ruffled Dress, $380 at Net-a-Porter

Helena Peabody

A.P.C. Shift Dress,  $270 at A.P.C.

This makes me so many different kinds of happy. Bette Porter was meant to wear that UB dress, she would probably add a giant flower pin though. And the Alice dress reminds me of that amazing red Chloe dress that she wore that one time, it's still sold on the outnet but it's like $2,000 or whatever and I get depressed whenever I see it.

Also, call me, I want to catch up with you! I have a few stories... And I'll be in arcata from the 18th to the 27th.

Oh god, the top one! I just peeped it on The Refinery 29 site the other day and I have not been able to get it out of my head since.

Inspired to sew my own version with far more bedazzling! :)

These are lovely and very conservative dress picks but I like it.

I like the first one. It’s gold and it’s fabulous.

Great article as for me. It would be great to read a bit more concerning this matter. Thank you for giving that data.
