I find thrift & vintage shopping to be an immensely thrilling and thereputic activity, largely because I know that every so often I will inevitably discover something marvelous and scoop it up for a fraction of it's actual value. Such an event occurred a couple weeks ago when I discovered this necklace/belt hybrid thingie at a little jewelry shop in Carroll Gardens. It is by far the best piece of jewelry that I have ever purchased and part of me is a little sad because I doubt that I will ever find anything this cool ever again. But it's fine because now that I have this weird lion head thing getting dressed is a hell of a lot easier. It creates the illusion that I put effort into making an outfit, when in actuality all I did was throw on a pair of trousers and my beloved tri-blend sweatshirt.

Woah! That is pretty amazing. I've never seen anything like it, what a rad find.
that is a phenomenal piece!
Wow. If you decided to start producing and selling that very piece, you'd be a millionaire.
it's brilliant! so perfect...really like a crown very fit for a queen.
i have a cache of prized jewelry treasures from my years in carroll gardens- i only wished i could've raided my landlady's apartment. what you've got there, though, is something just beyond.
that is amazing.
Yes!!! I saw a bracelet that would have matched that perfectly, sorry I didn't pick it up for you. You must feel magical in that lion trinket.

lucky lucky lucky find. i lucky love it!
I recently developed a huge crush on this artist Banks Violette. Really I'm not interested in his New Wave highschool goth art just the way he looks. I dunno why I had the sudden urge to tell you this.
I'm genuinely in love with the sheer amazingness of this piece! Pure fashion...
Wauw, that is a beautiful lion indeed :)
